Originally from Thomasville, GA, I was raised in Cook County starting in middle school and graduated from Cook High School in 2006. I met my husband, Mikey Allen, while in high school and we married in 2011. We made the decision to build our lives and raise our family in Cook County because we truly love the small town life this community offers. We now have a 4 year old daughter, Malone, and are expecting our second daughter, Catie Glyn, in August 2019. Malone adores her “little brother” Duke, our 3 year old boxer, and cannot wait to meet her little sister this summer!
I received a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from VSU. Spending six years in the mental health/substance abuse field provided much experience for which I’m grateful and has proven bountiful during my first year in the school system. I’m thankful to be able to live and work in the community that raised me and am honored to be a small part of guiding the youth of our county.
